Healthy Chocolate Crackles

Chocolate Crackles

Cane sugar free, dairy free, egg free, gluten free

Makes 8 – 12 (depending on size)


– 2 cups brown rice puffs
– 3/4 cup desiccated coconut
– 100 g coconut butter/oil
– 1/2 cup honey (or 1/4 cup honey and 1/4 cup pure maple syrup)
– 3 tablespoons cocoa


1. Line a 12 cup muffin tray with patty cake cases
2. Mix rice puffs and desiccated coconut together in a large bowl
3. In a small saucepan over a low heat combine coconut oil, honey (or honey and maple) and cocoa to form a chocolate sauce
4. Pour chocolate sauce over the dry ingredients and mix until coated evenly
5. Spoon mixture into patty cases
6. Refrigerate until set (at least an hour)

Note: Store in the fridge
